Hello everyone, I am Logan Graffia! I have been around sports all of my life. My Grandmother even has a photo of me holding a football when I was only an infant so that should tell you how much I love not only football, but sports in general! A little background on me. I was born and raised in Slidell, Louisiana, I started playing association basketball when I was around 6 or 7 years old and moved into football at 11 years old and have been playing ever since then. I attended Slidell High School where I would play Linebacker and graduate from in 2015. After graduating High School I attended Northshore Technical Community College where I got my prerequisites, after two semesters there I transferred to Southeastern La in 2016 to pursue my dream of being a Sports Reporter. During my time at SELU, I was able to be on multiple sports podcasts and enjoyed it. I also would go on to work for the TV Station on campus and serve as a Sports Anchor and Reporter and loved every minute of it. I graduated from Southeastern La in May 2020 with my Bachelors degree in Communication. The Fun Fact about me is that since 2015 I have been playing Semi Pro football. I played two years for this team based in Hammond called Louisiana Bayou Vipers and then since 2017 I have played for this team based in small town Lacombe, Louisiana called Bayou Lacombe Cardinals. I have loved every minute of it. I look forward to being a part of the KREWE!

Growing up in the hospitality industry (and with an Italian mother), I developed a passion for cooking at an early age which lead me to become a chef. After working in many kitchens, including MMI Culinary, Austin’s, and Mizado, I became the Executive Chef of Bayou Oaks in City Park. After a few years at City Park, I now hold the position of Food and Beverage Manager at Acme Oyster House’s corporate office. People are always asking me for good restaurant and bar recommendations. In a city like New Orleans you can’t go wrong!

Hi everyone, my name is Meredith McKernan! I am a food blogger who somehow made my way from Louisiana to New York City. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, it was a given that I’d end up at LSU. I graduated from LSU in May of 2019 and moved to NYC to pursue a career in modeling and marketing. I now spend more of my time eating than I do modeling! I started a food account called grubgurlz with my foodie cousin back in 2014. Of course, it started as just a fun little hobby where we posted everything we ate. After dedicating more and more of my time and effort to grubgurlz, it started to become one of my main priorities. Now it’s just me who runs the account and I have so much fun doing it! I have had a deep love for food my whole life. My dad is where I get it from. I grew up watching him in the kitchen as well as watching him order everything on the menu (hence why I always order too much at restaurants). Although I spend most of my time in NYC doing my remote marketing job, I often pay visits to my family in Baton Rouge and NOLA where I eat my heart out (don’t get me wrong, I eat my way through NYC too). That being said, I am so excited to be a part of the Boot Krewe Media team where I will get to share my love for food.
