Why Does Brandon Ingram Struggle In “Crunch Time?”

Brandon Ingram is a top 20 scorer in this league and he has been ever since he first stepped foot in New Orleans. But why does he struggle in late game situations?

Some of it is bad luck, some of it is bad decision making and some of it has to do with personnel. I think it is unfair that BI takes all the heat for the Pelicans late game struggles, but when you are the face of the franchise and make max money, you have to be clutch in late game situations.

In the video below I break down the last 7 possessions of the game. Possessions 1-3 are absolutely fantastic. Off ball movement, flare screens, clot cuts and really good decision making.
