Taking the Over – NFL Player Totals Futures = “Investments”

This week we’re back to wagering on the old familiar NFL. Specifically, via NFL Player Season Totals for the 2022 regular season. These “futures” bets take a long time to hatch: they settle at the end of the regular season. But extremely good value can be found if you look and listen closely. It really doesn’t even feel like gambling, it’s more like putting your money in a mutual fund that matures with a 90% return when Baker Mayfield doesn’t start all 17 games for the Panthers or Tua T. doesn’t magically become a 4K yard passer. Among our favorites mentioned on this week’s podcast are:

(all odds via DraftKings Sportsbook)

Baker Mayfield UNDER 3800.5 passing yds (-110)

Tua T UNDER 3950.5 passing yds (-110)

Zach “Mother F’ing” Wilson UNDER 3750.5 passing yds (-115)

Mac Jones OVER 3950.5 passing yds (-110)

Cooper Kupp OVER 111.5 receptions (+100)

Amon Ra St. Brown OVER 850.5 receiving yds (-110)

Allen Robinson UNDER 825 receiving yds (-110)

CeeDee Lamb UNDER 90.5 receptions (-115)

We don’t typically like to take unders, but we’ll make exceptions for season long futures bets. Our discussion of these and more bets can be listened to on this week’s podcast.
