Saints fans take over FedEx Field!

As I journeyed into the mass crowd of Washington fans this past Sunday, I expected to be one out of a handful of Saints fans in the stadium. Much to my surprise, this was not the case. As the first quarter of football wound down, the entire visiting side of FedEx field appeared to be a sea of black and gold. The Who Dat nation had definitely taken over and occupied what should’ve been a clear home game for the Washington Football Team.

There were times in FedEx where it almost felt as if Washington had traveled to New Orleans and were in the Superdome. With every score & defensive stop, the Saints took the Washington fans out of the game, allowing the “Who Dat” chants to air out like sirens throughout the stadium.

Here are a few plays where you can hear the deafening cheers from the fans of the New Orleans Saints

This next video is a shot of just how many Saints fans were in attendance, and boy is that a lot!

Once Kamara scored the touchdown that all but sealed the deal for the Saints, most fans of the Washington Football Team filed out of the arena. Fans of the Saints stayed behind to cheer on their team and see them off back to New Orleans!

What a great time it was to be a fan of the Saints in Washington this past Sunday. The Saints played a damn good game, kept the fans happy, and now head into their bye week 3-2.
