What is BKMadness
BKMadness is March Madness with a twist! This BKMadness pool is a straightforward game of chance. There are no players to follow, and no coaching skills required. If you happen to be feeling lucky, you’re in! You don’t even have to know much about college basketball. The way the numbers are set up on this basketball pool grid, it could actually be anybody’s game. Just head over to Port Orleans (4124 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans, LA 70115) with identification purchase a beer and write your down first and last name in the square of your choice, and then watch the game to keep tabs on the final score. If you don’t follow basketball that’s ok too, all winners will be announced on BKM Instagram page (@boot_krewe_media). Note: You cannot purchase squares for anyone they must be present.
Not familiar with how pools work?! Here’s an illustrated example the BKMadness 100 square pool:
| All Squares begin blank. You will have the option to pick any square that is open. | Head over to Port Orleans and Purchase a beer and get a square (Participants may get a max 3 squares if they’re feeling lucky.) |
| Once all the boxes are filled in, BKM randomly pick numbers 0-9 to list across the horizontal grid, and 0-9 to list down the vertical grid. | After the game, use the final score to see the winner. Say the final score is Home 26 and Visitors 24. Line up the 6 from the 26 of the Home score and the 4 from the Visitors score. The intersecting square at 6 and 4 is the winner. |
Once you are on the board you are set, this will be your square(s) for the entire tournament.
All Winnings may be redeemed at BKM Studio located at 3019 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70115. You must come with ID to claim prize.
This pool is no reverse. What does that mean? You do not win if the final score is HOME 26 AND VISITOR 24 and your numbers are 4 Home and 6 visitors. The number have to match the correct way. In this situation your numbers would have had to be 6 Home and 4 visitors.
Overtime: Overtime counts towards the final score. What does this mean? If at the end of the 4th quarter the score is 95-95. If your numbers are 5 and 5, you didn’t win just yet, the final score is when the game is completely over.
Winners must claim all prizes by April 5th 2021.
