RULES & REGULATIONS:

These Rules & Regulations as set forth must be strictly followed by all contestants. It is each contestant’s responsibility to read and fully understand these rules because entrants may be disqualified for noncompliance and may be required to forfeit all prize money and entry fees if they fail to comply with these rules & regulations. Interpretation of rules & regulations will be left exclusively to the tournament officials. The tournament officials’ decision(s) will be final in all matters, including matters not covered by these rules. The tournament officials have the right to refuse any entry without explanation. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied in the boat by an adult over 18 years old.

ENTRY FEE AND OCCUPANCY RULES: Tournament entry fee will be $225 per 3-person boat. A 4-person boat team entry is $275. The maximum number of fishermen per boat is 4.

TAKE-OFF AND WEIGH-IN: Registration begins at 6:00 am at the Rigolet’s Bait & Seafood Marina boat Launch (52250 US-90 Slidell, LA 70461). Participants are allowed to launch anywhere navigable by water within the Rigolet’s Marina, as long as registration and payment have been collected prior, however we suggest launching at the Rigolets Marina because refreshments and food will be provided. Boats must arrive at Rigolet’s Marina. Boats must be in by 4:00 pm (no exceptions), weigh-in begins at 4:30 pm. All numbers must be turned in by weigh-in time for official check-in. There will be a 1lb penalty per minute you are late, up to 15 minutes and then you will be disqualified.

Largest 3 redfish stringer: Prizes will be awarded for heaviest overall 3 fish between 16 and 27 inches. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize awarded for this category.

Spotted Red: Redfish over 16in with the most spots on it. •

Longest Trout

5. CREEL LIMIT: A limit of 3 fish per team may be weighed (Redfish). State laws prevail when fishing any body of water (size & limit). At no time will the length limit be less than 16 inches or more than 27 inches for Redfish. Anyone bringing in more than 3 redfish will have their catch culled to the 3 fish limit starting with the largest fish first. NO more than 5 Redfish, 25 speckle trout, and 10 bass per person in a boat at any time, no exceptions.

POLYGRAPH:Polygraph test may be given at any tournament by a qualified examiner. If requested, members must take and pass it; if refused or do not pass test, all monies will be forfeited with no further recourse.

PROTEST: Protests must be in writing and be submitted to tournament officials within 15 minutes of weigh-in.

TACKLE & EQUIPMENT: Artificial, live bait, and dead bait are permitted. Fish must be caught on a conventional rod & reel. No snagging. No Jug fishing. All fish must be caught live in a legal and sporting manner

SAFETY & CONDUCT: Safe boating conduct must be observed at all times. All competitors are required to follow high standards of sportsmanship and courtesy. Four people per boat only. Tournament can be called off or delayed at any time by tournament officials due to hazardous weather or lake conditions. All boats must be equipped with a kill switch and be in use. Life jackets must be worn whenever boat is on plane. No fishing within 50 yards of an anchored boats unless mutually agreed upon. The tournament officials or sponsors are not responsible for accidents orinjuries.
