What Lockout? Baseball is a WEEK away!

I do not want to hear the words ‘lockout’ or ‘deadline’ ever again for the rest of my life. The 90 something days we, as baseball fans suffered, was the absolute worse. The pissing match between Major League Baseball execs and MLBPA almost became comical. The late-night meetings that kept everyone up for hours waiting tweet by tweet was insane. But, I was there – refreshing my timeline every few seconds.

Opening Day is near!

After all the bullshit, here we stand a week out from Opening Day. Is there a better day in the year than Opening Day? The answer – NAH! We get day games! Night games! Games all day long! We get teams ACES, up on the bump, DEALING. So fuck the LOCKOUT and Rob Manfred can go kick rocks in sandals. Dislike that dude so much.

All it took was for me to make a guest appearance on Boot Krewe Media’s official gambling podcast Taking the Over and the next day – poof – we have an agreement! Check out that episode here! We discussed betting on baseball, steroids in baseball and many other outlandish topics.

With the season close to starting, what are my predictions? Well, those will be coming SOON. I may shock many with who I favor in some of these divisions. There have been many moves made that shook up the landscape of baseball. From free agent signings to blockbuster trades – we have had it all. Coming down the stretch to the end of Spring Training, rosters and line ups are beginning to take shape.

The returning Champs Atlanta Braves running Max Fried up to the hill against the Reds at home. The newly acquired starting pitcher Zack Greinke going back to his roots and on the bump for the Royals. Just so many things to get excited about. I can go on and on.

Top Ten Moments in Baseball!

Also, while you’re impatiently waiting for the season to start, go check out my guest appearance on The Perfect Ten podcast where we ran through our Top Ten Moments in Baseball. It was a wild time and a shit ton of laughs. Jake’s #1 will shock you.

April 7th can’t get here fast enough. You can bet you can find me with a beer in my hand watching the 12:05 pm first pitch of the Yankees vs Red Sox and Kike Hernandez leads off with a HR. Bring on the season – LFG!!
